In honor of Veterans Day, Penn Foster College recognizes our students and graduates who are serving our country and their families for their commitment, courage, and sacrifice. This issue of Penn Foster News is dedicated to them. Originally known as Armistice Day, Veterans Day is the memorial holiday which commemorates the ending of World War I on November 11, 1918. Veterans Day is also called Remembrance Day and Poppy Day in other parts of the world. |
